In addition, we also work closely with financial institutions and are the preferred consultants for a number of major banks. Our hands on approach gives providers the support and confidence they need when dealing with the various commissioning and regulatory authorities, as well as providing reassurance to financial services, often resulting in avoiding the need to engage expensive legal services. In addition, we also work with a wide range of providers on improving and maintaining quality assurance, exceeding excellence and preparing for regulatory inspection. Bhavna Keane-Rao – Director BKR Care Consultancy
Bhavna has over 30 years’ experience working in Health and Social Care, initially with Local Authorities and then for over 23 years as a regulatory inspector and then a senior practitioner with the CQC. After leaving the CQC in 2010 she set up BKR Care Consultancy Ltd, specializing in working with distressed services and developing quality systems. She is currently a member of the advisory board to the international Care Ethics (ICE) Observatory at Surrey University and on the board of trustees for RESEC, based a Templeton Green College Oxford, and has recently completed a project developing learning sets for Registered Managers, taking the lead in running the mentoring scheme in Leicestershire.

Charlie Jones RGN
Charlie is a qualified RGN with 13 years’ experience in both the acute and community setting. She also possesses health care education training qualifications (NMAH3352 undertaken at DeMontfort University). For the past two years she has worked solely as a consultant, which has included the role of crisis manager, assessing training needs and preparing individualized development plans, clinical governance in relation to nursing, development and preparation of care documentation, the interim management of domiciliary services and care homes, management of safeguarding and the undertaking of quality assurance inspections. She was also a Trustee of a Charity working with Anthony Nolan and the government agencies in developing bone marrow transplant awareness and policies.

Marie Morris, Manager Village Green Care Home
Marie is a highly experienced and knowledgeable manager with Business Management qualification level 7, NVQ level 5 and RMA qualifications as well as extensive training in MAPPA and NAPPI. She has over 25 years’ experience in the care sector the last 10 years in management roles for companies specialising in the care of adults with various levels of learning disabilities and mental health and award winning Dementia care.
